In part 3 of this series reviewing the DVD Spiritual Reality, the concept of the Etheric Body is discussed. The etheric body is also referred to as the energy body, and is composed of energy tubes that run throughout the body in a web-like fashion that can be likened to the circulatory system only it circulates cosmic energy (Divine energy, Universal Energy, God Energy...) rather than blood. Once again in this section, there are a couple of unfamiliar words. A word that sounds like "nareeds" which appear to be synonymous with energy tubes, and one that sounds like "krumalunder" that is synonymous with the top of the head or the crown chakra area; an entry point for cosmic energy received during meditation. The etheric body is said to be "the main base for the design of life...the source of all actions".
Depleted cosmic energy leads to "etheric patches" which appear to translate into areas in the body where the cosmic energy is restricted or blocked. It is stated that the "root cause for all diseases is the lack of energy in the etheric body". The DVD has a very accessible representation for the conceptualizing of the manifestation of illness or disease.
Increasing the flow of cosmic energy (or however you perceive this concept), through meditation, silence or centering prayer is said to clear these etheric patches and prevent or clear disease processes. For those of you who may be bothered by the Eastern concepts or semantics, simply substitute the "source energy" that fits with your religious or spiritual tradition or beliefs. A discordance with the terminology used does not necessitate a negation of the pearls to be found between the words.
