I follow The Hunger Site on facebook. It is a FANTASTIC website, so go check them out. They sell a bunch of items made by people from all over the world and every purchase donates food to the hungry. They have some really beautiful things.
So the other day, on FB, they show this hat for sale. A Tibetan Yak Hat. It is made of polyester and made by indigenous artisans. So I started being silly and before you know it, one of my FB friends (and Willow followers) Photoshopped my head into the hat. What do you think?
Then I said if somebody would buy me the hat, I would let someone videotape me wearing it to the grocery store. And somebody offered. Waiting to hear back on weather or not I have a video person willing to take on the journey. I surely hope not. But stand by and we'll see. The photo is now on Facebook and Twitter, and I sent it to Ashton Kutcher in response to his Tweet "What made you laugh today", and I sent it to The Hunger Site on FB to see what they think of me in the hat. Do you think it will catch on? Do you think I will have to actually made good on my agreement to wear it grocery shopping? It's $20...go get one...send me a photo of you wearing it and I'll post it on this page. How 'bout a flash mob of Yak hats? Couldn't go to a better cause.
It didn't quite go viral, but it's gotten 48 hits so far. WOOT!
