A Rant about Toilet Paper Roll Sizes

I try not to go all crazy on my blog and be negative, but I have to give a rant about one of the most ridiculous trends EVER:  the resizing of toilet paper.

Instead of just raising prices, the new trend (in many things) is to reduce the size of something and pretend nobody noticed.  I would honestly rather see the size stay the same and the price go up.

Instead we have shelf upon shelf of "Regular sized rolls", "Double" rolls, and now even "Triple Rolls".  Each size gets smaller and each larger size gets pricier.  The new triple is the size that original rolls used to be. 

What the heck?  Do they think we're that stupid???  I'm about to seek out TP that is the same size as it once was, no matter the price...a brand that just stayed the same.  Does that exist?  If so, I challenge you to find it for me, and I say THAT is the brand we should all buy.

I ran across this new sized "regular" today and it is the tiniest thing I've ever seen.  That entire package is really smaller than my hand and I could probably get my fingers all the way around a single roll.  I couldn't believe it.  It's like a miniature, and I can't for the life of me figure out why they would make it, sell it, and further why ANYBODY would want to buy it.  Those four tiny rolls might make up one actual roll of TP.  I'm not only picking on Angel Soft...this is a trend not only across all TP and paper towels but many other products as well.  Don't try to slip something past me...just raise the price if you must.  At least be upfront.

The only thing I can think to do is to see if we can locate a normal sized "regular" roll by a sensible company and boycott all other stupid sized rolls.  I'm fine with mulitple brands, but one "regular roll" size and quit playing games.

I swear to God, I'm about to go back to the days the the Sears and Robuck catalog, or using newspaper.  This is such an insult to consumers it makes me want to scream and throw my feces like a chimp!  That is all.
