Book Review: Close Your Eyes by Iris and Roy Johansen
Kendra has consulted with the FBI before and proven herself most valuable. Having spend the first 20 years of her life blind, she notices things with all of her senses that most people don't.
I enjoyed the book as I truly enjoy this genre. It gets moving right away. My only complaint would be the romantic theme that just doesn't need to be there to make it a good read. I get sort of weary that every book seems to have to stick sex or romance into it to what...sell it to women? Are we that transparent? I like good old fashioned crime and mystery and sometimes people really CAN have professional relationships or platonic friendships. I would say that's more often the norm than that everyone who works together in some capacity must have a romantic involvement. Just sayin'.
It's an average beach read. Not sorry I read it...won't remember it beyond...wait...what was I talking about?
